French Paper Company

This project was over the celebration of the 140th Anniversary French Paper Company. A conceptual booklet and poster was designed to celebrate their anniversary. The collection that was chosen was the Construction line. A line of sturdy, well-built papers, Construction was built around 2 solid whites and 16 of the strongest colors in the French Paper toolbox, the foundation for great design. The concept of the overall design was based off of insects with names that if thought about literally were a bit whimsical.

The illustrations were personally created to show the bug. For example the horse fly was depicted with a horse head on a fly body. The color scheme was based on the construction paper color palette. It was styled in a way that represented a journal that was being documented in over each insect. The booklet contained information over each insect and where they are located. The poster had graphics from the brochure in order to promote it for their celebration. Along with the entertaining illustrations of the insects there were real depictions of what the bugs looked like. The printed version was hand bound in order to add to the aesthetic of a journal.
